Hugo holds a master’s degree in architecture from the University of Montreal and a bachelor’s degree in environmental design. A member of the OAQ since 2018, he has had several years of experience that have allowed him to acquire technical, creative, and organizational skills enabling him to follow the various stages of construction development as an architect and project manager. In his practice, he favors a vision that places people at the heart of each project’s development. He is also interested in the structural aspects of buildings, with a view to creating architecture that is simple, elegant, and sustainable.
His specialization in the conservation of the built environment during his university studies also allowed him to develop a keen sensitivity to architectural heritage, as well as to the various issues related to working on existing buildings.
“Navigating the project development process is not always easy but seeing the impact that a building can have on a living environment, a community, a family, or an individual is, for me, a source of constant wonder, which reflects the efforts made to create quality architecture.”
