Marie joined the Blouin Beauchamp Architectes team in the spring of 2022 after obtaining her Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from McGill University, followed by her Master’s degree in Architecture completed in the spring of 2024. From the moment she arrived, Marie distinguished herself with her motivation and constant desire to learn and take on challenges. Her journey at Blouin Beauchamp Architectes reflects her commitment to creating inclusive and sustainable projects. Within our team, Marie quickly developed a particular interest in human-scale architecture. She places great importance on the involvement of cultural and social minorities in the architectural process, aiming to design spaces that meet both collective and individual needs while addressing current environmental issues.
“A project I particularly appreciate is the Crowley project. It is a significant challenge that stands out from the academic framework as it involves the design of a 20-story residential tower in the NDG area, which is currently undergoing significant development. What makes this project so interesting is the integration of such a large-scale building into an area that is not accustomed to it. The challenge is to create friendly and comfortable human-scale spaces for residents despite the urban context of the sector. Additionally, working in a small team on such a large-scale project offers both the opportunity to be involved in the decision-making process and to constantly learn through collaboration with more experienced colleagues, which is both enriching and rewarding.”
